Engage in customer work, taking the vehicle to a customer to collect a trailer, delivering it to a hub, and returning to the depot. Assist with loading and unloading at customer sites and in the depot Perform drop and swap operations, sometimes using a tail lift, and occasionally doing trailer swaps requiring uncoupling the vehicle. Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries. Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position. Attend an on-site induction for the first shift. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
