Job Title: Production Lead Position Type: Full-time (40 hrs/wk) Non-exempt (hourly) Reports To: Production & Warehouse Manager Location: Vancouver, WA Workdays: Monday Thursday Work Hours: During regular business hours 6:00 am 4:30 pm (10 hours per day) Sanozen is a nutritional supplement manufacturing company that believes in social interaction and personal engagement. Position Summary The Production Lead oversees the daily duties of Encapsulation, Weighing, Blending, Tableting, Hand sorting, Packaging, Warehouse, and Sanitation Duties/Responsibilities • Adhere to Sanozen Core Values., • Monitor and work with employees in all areas of production (Encapsulation, Weighing, Blending, Tableting, Hand sorting, Packaging, Warehouse, and Sanitation), • Lead and direct staff to maintain safety, quality of products, and efficiency of labor., • Responsible for the accuracy of the weigh process and double weigh check procedure., • Ensure proper training of all employees on GMP, SOPs, Machines, and Processes is completed., • Ensure that any ingredient that is less than or equal to 10 mg per dose is weighed separately and placed in a pre-blend., • Ensure that all weighing-related documents are properly filled out., • Ensure that the weigh station is kept clean and organized during the weighing process., • Make sure that the proper procedure is followed in pre-blending and final blending of products., • Responsible for the accuracy of in-process containers in the weighing and blending areas., • Ensure that the oldest lots of raw ingredients are used first in the weigh process (FIFO policy), • Communicate problems, solutions, and opportunities., • Order consumables when necessary., • Maintain a clean and orderly working environment in the department., • Maintain a safe work environment., • Adhere to other duties as assigned. Education and Experience • High School Diploma or GED required., • Considerable experience in weighing products and general production experience in the nutritional industry recommended., • Must be competent, accurate, and efficient., • Dependable The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing/production environment. These environments may include standing full work days, walking in a fast paced environment, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in required personal protective equipment (including hearing protection), subject to atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, odors, powders, dust, and other particles. The position may require specific vision abilities that include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision and field of vision.
