Responsibilities • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys handling commercial real estate and business transactions., • Draft, edit, proofread, and finalize contracts, leases, closing documents, financing documents, and other legal materials., • Assist with real estate closings by coordinating checklists, signatures, due diligence, and post-closing documents., • Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, municipalities, and other transaction stakeholders., • Support real estate acquisitions, leasing, development, financing, construction, and related corporate matters., • Help manage land use, zoning, environmental, and municipal approval processes., • Organize and maintain client files, transaction records, and closing documents., • Manage calendars, deadlines, meetings, travel arrangements, and administrative tasks., • Process billing, expense reports, engagement letters, conflict checks, and matter administration., • Prepare electronic closing binders and perform document management tasks., • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent client service. Requirement • s5+ years of legal assistant, legal secretary, or similar law firm experience, preferably in commercial real estate or transactional law, • .Paralegal certificate and/or bachelor’s degree preferred, • .Experience supporting attorneys in a mid-sized or large law firm, • .Knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, development, leasing, financing, and closings, • .Experience working with lenders, title companies, municipalities, consultants, and other third parties, • .Strong drafting, proofreading, organizational, and multitasking skills, • .Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PDF tools, document management systems, and legal workflow software, • .Familiarity with New York real estate practice preferred; Connecticut experience is a plus, • .Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, discretion, and ability to work independently .
