OK BAKING is seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities: -Assist in preparing cake mix according to recipe -Prepare icing from scratch following provided recipes -Preheat ovens and ensure proper temperature settings -Pour cake mix into cake pans and place them on trays for baking -Safely remove trays from the oven and transfer baked cakes to the walk-in refrigerator -Package cakes and mark boxes with the correct flavor and client information -Prepare cake pans for the next batch of baking -Clean kitchen equipment and wash trays -Maintain a neat and organized storage area Requirements: -Ability to lift 50lbs as warehouse work is involved -Willingness and ability to follow instructions closely -Availability to work two nights per week, starting at 6:00 PM -Flexibility to work extended hours on busy nights, with shifts potentially extending past 12:00 AM -Culinary students or individuals with a passion for baking are welcome -Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is a plus but not required -Join our team at OK BAKING and be part of a dynamic and creative bakery environment.
