Schedule: 40 hours, flexible Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide support and assist individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living., • Participates in the delivery of comprehensive behavior analytic services and supports to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities: implements behavior interventions, assists in data collection, provides data reporting on target behaviors., • Meets regularly with RBT supervisor to review behavior plans, data collection and analysis., • Create opportunities and provide support to individuals to make decisions in order to develop their skills and foster independence., • Provide services to individuals according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and all applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures., • Provide support and assist individuals with all medical, clinical and financial needs., • Transport and accompany individuals as needed to and from medical, recreational and other activities outside the program., • Maintain required documentation according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and all applicable regulatory standards as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures., • Assists individuals with accessing resources and recreational opportunities in the community., • Administer medications according to MAP regulations, as applicable., • Maintain core training certifications including CPR/FA, OSHA, PABC, MAP and Driver Safety., • Maintain additional mandated certifications and trainings as required by the program., • Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members and other stakeholders., • Must have a high school diploma or GED. Associates Degree or DSP Certification Preferred., • Must have current Registered Behavior Technician certification., • Excellent written and oral communication skills so that writing of required documents is clear and articulate., • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills., • Valid driver's license and minimum of one year of driving experience., • While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to climb stairs., • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds., • The employee must be able to drive a vehicle and regularly meet driving record requirements of the agency., • Must have a normal range of eyesight with or without corrective lenses. Day-to-Day Expectations A typical day as an Armory Plumbing technician includes: • Arriving at the shop on time each morning, • Reviewing your schedule and stocking materials/tools needed for the day, • Heading out to your first service call or scheduled installation, • Calling the customer when youre on the way, • Greeting the customer professionally, listening carefully to their concerns, • Diagnosing the issue accurately and explaining your findings, • Completing the repair/installation with clean, code-compliant workmanship, • Following all Massachusetts plumbing code requirements (248 CMR), • Testing your work and educating the customer on what was done, • Cleaning up thoroughlyleave every space better than you found it, • Documenting materials, notes, photos, and invoices before moving to the next job Professionalism, communication, and workmanship are the foundation of the Armory experience.
