Job DescriptionPosition Summary Crescent Forklift Operators are responsible to move the necessary materials throughout the warehouse in an effective, efficient, and very safe manner. Forklift Operators are responsible to provide the necessary logistics services to our internal and external customers. The FLO's processes will operate as outlined in the Crescent Way- 3 P's: • Purpose, • Process, • Doing it Right, • Doing it Safe, • Doing it WellEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafety, • Read, understand, and follow the Doing it Safe Playbook, • Understands and complies with all safety requirements, • Do not walk by any unsafe act or behavior, • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, • Complete forklift inspection and trailer inspection forms accurately and according to procedure, • Operate forklift in a safe manner in trailer, warehouse, production floor, and around other workers.People, • Motivated member of the Crescent team, • Ability to work and complete individually assigned tasks, • Work well in high paced environment, • Work closely with other FLO's, Line Leads, Shipping and Receiving, and Supervisors to complete tasks on time, resolve issues, and continuously improve, • Ability to learn tasks, layout, and customer requirements quickly, • Ability to operate warehouse management systemProductivity, • Operate forklift efficiently to maximize productive time, • Communicate with Production to prioritize, pull, and stage inventory accurately and according to procedure to ensure efficient line operation, • Efficiently load and unload trailers to maintain turnaround times for each dock appointment, • Communicate with lead and supervisor to maintain good workflow for assigned tasks, • Consistently reach pallets per hour productivity standard Quality, • Load trucks according to Crescent and Customer requirements with consideration for weight, balance, and load security, • Report all safety, quality, near misses, accidents, mistakes, and product damages accurately and according to procedures, • Ability to accurately verify and count items to be picked, staged, or loaded, • Ensure the integrity of lot code is maintained through every product movement process, • Maintain customer or inventory separation when requiredCustomer Value, • Handle customer owned product with care and protect their brand, • Work efficiently to provide on time delivery for each customer request, • Identify and be a part of continuous improvement effortsFinancial, • Provide ideas to continually improve productivity, GMP's, and RSW, • Continually seek out means to remove sources of waste throughout the warehouse, • Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities, • Able to adhere to safety and GMP requirements, • Able communicator- clearly communicate with peers and supervisors, • Able to follow policy and procedures, • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm's length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch, • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, • Possess the necessary level of hand / eye coordination to safely operate industrial equipment Knowledge, Skills, & Capability, • The ability to read instructions and perform simple math, • Confident and able to both make decision and ask for support, • The ability to communicate and balance talking with listening, • Being self-motivated and motived by achieving set targets while continually seeking out opportunities to eliminate waste. Ability to accept and embrace change, • Determining how information fits together and how the information relates to the task at hand, • The ability to break a problem down into steps and produce a logical timely solution, • The ability to manage one's time effectively, schedule and prioritize tasks in accordance with the demands of the daySystems Usage, • Pack Manager, • SAPPerformance Metrics and Trends, • Moves per hour, • Incidents and accidents, • Participate in Safety Observations, • Pack-Manager Data Entry, • Absenteeism, • Ontime/ timelyQualificationsEducation & Experience:, • High school diploma and 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications Preferred Qualifications:, • Regulatory GMP manufacturing experience, • Operate safe risk-free industrial equipment, • Achieve all Productivity and Quality targets, • I am at least 18 years of age of older, • I can perform the essential functions of this position, with or without accommodation, • I am a US Citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the US on an unrestricted basis Pay Range$20.50—$20.50 USD
