Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant will support the logistical and administrative needs of the Food Programs warehouse in Canarsie, Brooklyn. This role is based at our Brooklyn warehouse. This role is a great opportunity for someone who likes to make systems run effectively and collaborate with others for smooth warehouse and office operations. They will act as the primary receptionist for the warehouse, responsible for welcoming visitors, fielding inquiries, and answering and directing phone calls. The role supports facilities, operations, and program logistics, including supply management, visitor scheduling, and occasional event support. Principal Responsibilities: Perform office management tasks, such as scheduling vendors, repairs, and inspections, as well as ensuring team members have the supplies and information they need to accomplish their duties. Track and replenish office supplies, snacks, coffee station, and other inventory. Manage Receive incoming phone calls, forwarding them as appropriate and providing basic information when needed. Document processes related to administrative duties at the warehouse. Welcome and direct visitors, notifying the appropriate employee contact of arrivals. Participate in internal and external meetings as assigned. Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries; process outgoing mail. Monitor common areas (breakroom, supply/mail room, etc.) and coordinate upkeep. Provide clerical support including filing, photocopying, scanning, and postage. Support the overall operations of the warehouse, food pantry, and on-site offices by following Standard Operating Procedures and suggesting new procedures as needs arise. Additional responsibilities as required. Job summary: Experienced Peer Specialist to work on a newly funded innovative Care Transition team that serves participants transitioning to the community from a higher level of care. As a member of the Pathway Home multi-disciplinary team the Peer Specialist position will work under the supervision of the Team Leader. The role will involve facilitating transition from one level of care to the community by addressing the preparatory needs of participants in the early stages of recovery, discharge planning, development of daily living skills, and coping mechanisms through team and individual work in the community. The team will follow individuals into the community using the Pathway Home model of care to ensure that they become both linked and engaged with identified community providers and that their support network is sufficient to meet their needs. The Peer Specialist engages participants in peer-based services to identify and overcome barriers to community integration, utilizing a peer relationship to foster connection, trust, understanding and validation with community providers and supports. The role will require on call coverage and a willingness to work flexible hours. Job Responsibilities: • Engagement beginning from referring location with involvement in transition planning, including a needs assessment of community transition supports essential to stabilizing the participant;, • Individual sessions with participants emphasizing prevention and preparing for independent community living and the promotion of optimum mental and emotional health. Behind every child who receives services is a coordinated effort to make sure care is authorized, covered, and never interrupted. The Insurance Coordinator sits at the center of that effort. Position Summary We're looking for a detail-driven Insurance Coordinator to own the eligibility and authorization side of our ABA services. In this role, you make sure every client has active insurance coverage and valid authorization in place before and throughout their care --- verifying benefits, securing initial authorizations, and staying ahead of re-authorization deadlines so that no child's services lapse. You'll be the connective tissue between payers, our clinical team, and families, translating insurance requirements into clear next steps and keeping our authorization pipeline accurate and current. This is a role for someone who is organized, persistent, and detail oriented --- someone who takes real ownership of deadlines and follows through until each authorization is confirmed. Position is full-time and compensation is based on experience ranging between $25-30/hr. Key Responsibilities Eligibility & Benefits Verification • Confirm that referrals, diagnoses, and required documentation meet each payer's criteria for ABA services., • Confirm new coverage whenever a client's coverage changes.
