Job Description As a part of the Technology Operations Team, the Audio Visual (A/V) Senior Engineer will be responsible for the ongoing operation, optimization, and support of conference room technologies and other audio-visual enabled functions within Achieve offices. This includes daily system health checks, proactive monitoring, and first- and second-level problem resolution. The engineer will provide user and event support including, but not limited to, audio, video, content sharing, livestreaming/webcasting, and hybrid meeting support. Responsibilities also include planning, executing, and supporting company-wide events, as well as managing open office digital signage and contact center reader boards. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with enterprise A/V and video collaboration technologies (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, or similar), as well as strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skills. Clear communication with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams is essential. Occasional travel between locations and participation in enterprise IT projects will also be required. THE ROLE Project Work • Design, specify, and manage installation of integrated A/V systems, including hybrid collaboration and video conferencing technologies., • Oversee project documentation, drawings, and as-builts., • Act as internal project lead and vendor coordinator for A/V buildouts, upgrades, and refreshes., • Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource alignment., • Review project designs created by internal and external resources for accuracy, scalability, and security., • Provide advanced A/V support for end users, IT support technicians, and escalated service desk issues., • Deliver onsite and remote A/V support for meetings, events, and livestreams., • Maintain, test, and replace A/V equipment proactively to minimize downtime., • Perform preventative maintenance and work with vendors/manufacturers for advanced troubleshooting., • Troubleshoot last-minute and mission-critical A/V problems with urgency., • Coordinate with Facilities and IT teams on requirements for new conference room or media installations., • Support company meetings/functions requiring A/V infrastructure (audio, VTC, webcasting, visual display, control systems such as Crestron/Extron, DSPs, and Zoom Rooms/Teams Rooms)., • Ensure all conferencing spaces are presentable, fully operational, and equipped for hybrid collaboration., • Train and mentor IT support personnel and end users on A/V systems and best practices., • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and an internal reference library for installed technologies., • Develop and publish knowledge base (KB) articles and quick reference guides (QRG)., • Identify gaps in end-user adoption and create targeted training programs. Qualifications • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Media Production, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)., • Minimum of 5–7 years managing A/V environments in a corporate setting., • CTS, CTS-I, or equivalent certification strongly preferred., • Hands-on experience with A/V control systems (Crestron, Extron, or AMX), DSPs (Biamp, QSC, Shure), and VoIP integrations., • Videoconferencing expertise including call setup, equipment troubleshooting, and platform administration (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms experience preferred)., • Experience with digital signage platforms (e.g., Appspace, Carousel)., • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (wired/wireless, QoS, VLANs for A/V)., • Strong 'white-glove' executive support mindset with ability to work calmly under pressure., • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite and collaboration tools., • Familiarity with cabling standards, signal flow, and testing tools., • Project management knowledge (PMP or Agile/ITIL experience a plus)., • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills., • Ability to deliver A/V support in high-visibility executive and board-level environments., • Experience with event production, livestreaming, and hybrid town hall meetings., • Knowledge of UC integrations (Zoom, Teams, Slack, or Webex)., • Familiarity with asset management and monitoring platforms (Uptime, Crestron Fusion, Crestron ToolBox, Zoom Dashboard, or similar)., • Experience with Data Center/DCIM, rack design, and cable management best practices., • Highly detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills., • Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities and operate with a customer-first mindset., • Proven track record of identifying system gaps and recommending scalable solutions., • Collaborative team player who encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.
