Job Description Overview: Homewatch CareGivers of Keller Grapevine is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life. We have GREAT OPPORTUNITIES for caregivers! Why Homewatch Caregivers? • Paid training and Continuing Education, • PTO, • Competitive Pay, • Weekly Pay – now also offering DailyPay!, • Collaboration with RN, • Medical, Dental and Vision after 90 days, • Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility., • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment., • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are met., • Administer medications as instructed and assist with basic health monitoring., • Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe and tidy environment., • Escort clients to appointments, social activities, and errands as needed., • Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the care team., • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and communicate effectively with team members., • Participate in training and professional development sessions as required., • Previous experience in caregiving in a home or skilled facility., • Must be able to function with minimal supervision, • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients and families., • Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a desire to help others., • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively., • Proficiency in using smart phones and mobile devices and basic technology for communication and timecard function., • Must pass all background and drug screening with satisfactory results., • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the day, including traveling to different client homes., • Capability to lift, transfer, and support clients, including helping them get in and out of bed, wheelchairs, or other assistive devices, which may require lifting up to 20-30 pounds, • Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching to provide care, perform assessments, and handle medical equipment or supplies., • Ability to see and hear accurately to monitor client conditions and communicate effectively with clients and team members., • Must be able to wear required PPE (e.g., masks, gloves, gowns) for extended periods as needed for infection control., • Ability to work in various environments, including client homes, which may involve different levels of accessibility, lighting, and temperature.
