Job Description We are seeking ABA interns to join our school-based team in the Kansas City metro area for the 2025–2026 school year. In this role, you’ll work directly in classrooms alongside teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to implement behavior analytic strategies that support student success. Key Responsibilities • Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) in collaboration with a supervising BCBA., • Provide in-classroom support to students, modeling evidence-based strategies and interventions., • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate behavior supports into the school setting., • Train and coach staff (RBTs, paraprofessionals, and teachers) in effective behavior management strategies., • Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed., • Maintain accurate documentation of behavior plans, interventions, and progress., • Participate in team meetings, multidisciplinary evaluations, and professional development activities., • Stay current on research, best practices, and ethical guidelines in Applied Behavior Analysis., • Actively pursuing or holding certification as a BCBA or BCaBA (or currently earning ABA fieldwork hours)., • At least 1 year of RBT experience or equivalent experience working with children with developmental disabilities., • Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families. ✨ Small caseloads – Focus on students, not numbers ✨ No insurance billing – More time for teaching and collaboration ✨ No minimum billable hours – Flexibility built in ✨ School-based schedule – Enjoy evenings, weekends, and holidays off ✨ Supportive mentorship – Ongoing coaching and professional development Benefits Include • Competitive hourly pay, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Generous PTO policy, • Company-paid life insurance, • Voluntary benefit programs & cafeteria plan options, • 401(k) with employer support, • Bereavement and jury duty pay, • Continuing education reimbursement, • Paid licensure fees and professional liability insurance, • Professional development program & mentorship Join us in creating classrooms where students can learn, grow, and succeed.
