The General Manager plays a key leadership role in shaping those experiences across multiple locations and service models. This role is responsible for guiding operational excellence, developing engaged teams, and ensuring consistent guest and client experiences across restaurants, catering operations, and retail concepts. The General Manager partners closely with culinary, events, and corporate teams to balance creativity, financial performance, and operational rigor in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to make a visible impact across a diverse account while growing leaders, strengthening culture, and contributing to the continued evolution of the Wolfgang Puck Catering brand. Key Responsibilities • Provide oversight and direction across multiple outlets, including restaurants, catering operations, and retail locations, • Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, service expectations, and food quality across all locations, • Partner with culinary leaders to support menu execution, innovation, and seasonal programming, • Lead operational planning for high-volume events, off-site catering, and special projects, • Build, develop, and retain high-performing management teams across units, • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative workplace culture, • Support performance management, coaching, and succession planning, • Champion training initiatives that promote growth, engagement, and operational consistency, • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance across multiple operations, • Analyze labor, food costs, and operational metrics to support profitability and sustainability, • Partner with finance and leadership teams on strategic planning and continuous improvement, • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations, • Maintain strong relationships with clients, venue partners, and internal stakeholders, • Ensure exceptional guest experiences across restaurants, catered events, and retail interactions, • Act as a senior point of contact for escalations, special requests, and relationship management, • Lead teams in a fluid scheduling environment, adapting to business needs, events, and seasonal demands, • Provide leadership presence during nights, weekends, and peak event periods as requiredWhat We’re Looking For, • Experience leading multi-unit foodservice operations, ideally across restaurant, catering, or retail environments, • Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations with multiple stakeholders, • Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls, • Strong people leadership skills with a focus on coaching, development, and engagement, • Comfort operating in fast-paced, event-driven environments with changing priorities, • Collaborative, thoughtful leadership approach that values diverse perspectives, • Clear communicator who builds trust with teams, clients, and partners, • Organized and adaptable, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on leadership, • Commitment to creating welcoming, inclusive guest and employee experiences, • Experience in premium or chef-driven concepts, • Background in catering, events, or hospitality services with variable schedules Wolfgang Puck Catering is a member of Compass Group USA Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
