About the Role - ACapital Markets Loan Packaging & QC Specialist serves as a key contributor on our Capital Markets team, with a primary focus on loan review, quality control, post-closing, and due diligence. This role is responsible for ensuring all loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with investor requirements prior to delivery. This position will perform detailed post-closing quality control reviews, identify and resolve documentation deficiencies, and prepare loan files for due diligence and investor submission. Your ability to manage loan packaging, maintain data integrity, and and coordinate across teams will ensure smooth loan delivery, minimize investor exceptions, and support timely, successful sales. Key Responsibilities: • Perform detailed loan review and post-closing quality control (QC) audits on funded loans to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with investor and due diligence requirements, • Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent documentation/data; drive resolution by coordinating corrections, re-requests, and document remediation, • Manage end-to-end loan packaging, ensuring all files are properly organized, labeled, and prepared for due diligence and investor delivery, • Review due diligence findings, reconcile exceptions, and clear conditions to ensure loans meet sale eligibility requirements, • Coordinate with third-party due diligence providers and internal teams to facilitate timely file reviews and re-submissions, • Track loan status throughout the post-closing and delivery lifecycle, including outstanding conditions, exceptions, and deadlines, • Maintain accurate records within the loan management system to reflect real-time QC status and delivery readiness, • Produce reports and status updates on loan quality, deficiencies, and delivery timelines to support leadership and capital markets execution, • Partner cross-functionality with closing, underwriting, compliance, and capital markets to resolve issues and ensure seamless loan flow, • Recommend and implement improvements to QC processes, checklists, and packaging workflows based on trends and recurring deficiencies Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered, • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of mortgage operations, loan delivery, post-closing review, secondary market, or related experience, • Advanced knowledge of underwriting, credit, title, closing documents, and investor delivery standards., • High attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies, gaps, or risk exposures, • Excellent organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills (handling many loan files at different stages), • Strong written and verbal communication skills to request, explain, and follow up with internal and external parties, • Proficiency in loan origination/servicing systems, document management, and tracking workflows, • Sound judgment and escalation instinctsknowing when to push issues upward or negotiate resolutions Performance Qualifications: • Experience in secondary market investor delivery, knowledge of due diligence protocols, or exposure to capital markets Performance Metrics / Success Indicators: • Percentage of loans that pass due diligence without exceptions or rejections, • Time (in days) from closing to investor delivery, • Average time to resolve document or condition issues, • Accuracy of status tracking vs. actual file state, • Reduction in investor rejections or corrections over time, • Throughput (number of loans processed per period) while maintaining quality Compensation & Benefits: Crebridprovides a competitive compensation and benefits program intended to support the health, financial security, and professional growth of our employees, including: • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with employer-subsidized premiums, • Company-sponsored 401(k) retirement plan, • Paid time off (PTO), including vacation, sick time, and company-recognized holidays, • Employer-paid basic life insurance with optional supplemental coverage, • Annual performance-based bonus eligibility, where applicable, • Professional development, learning opportunities, and room to grow in your career, • Flexible or hybrid work arrangements, subject to role requirements At Crebrid, we are committed to excellence and integrity in every aspect of our operations.
