Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician - 1st shift and 3rd shift openings available / Pay ranges from $30-$38/hr DOE Job Summary The Electromechanical Maintenance Technician supports the safe and reliable operation of production and facility equipment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, including automated machinery and control equipment, while supporting preventive maintenance and safety standards. What You’ll Do • Troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment, • Support automated machinery, motors, control panels, and basic computer‑controlled systems, • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, • Diagnose equipment issues and recommend repair or improvement solutions, • Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment, • Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment needs, • Follow all safety policies and safe work practicesWhat We’re Looking For, • High school diploma or GED required, • Technical background through education, military training, or hands‑on industrial maintenance experience, • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, • Ability to work with wiring, controls, motors, and production equipment, • Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation, • Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving and communication skills, • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred, • CMMS experience (SAP or similar) preferredWork Environment, • Industrial/manufacturing setting, • Exposure to machinery, electrical systems, and production equipment This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
