Primoris is seeking an engaging, highly motivated Learning & Development Specialist to join our Energy Segment unit. We’re looking for a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist with an expertise in Instructional Design who can develop and deliver learning programs that drive employee growth and organizational success. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and training professionals to create innovative, learner-centered training solutions for a diverse workforce. This position reports directly to the Learning & Development Lead for the Energy Segment. Key Responsibilities This role combines strong facilitation expertise with instructional design, program development, and evaluation to ensure high-quality, engaging, and results-driven learning experiences. Program Development & Delivery • Design and deliver engaging instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), new hire instruction, and train-the-trainer sessions., • Collaborate with L&D/Training Professionals, Talent Management, and Business Segment leaders to create training programs aligned with organizational and business goals., • Personalize learning content for target audiences and ensure the delivery of effective, impactful learning experiences., • Support learning delivery across multiple modalities, including self-paced eLearning, mobile learning, facilitated sessions, and coaching., • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks (ADDIE) to training solutions., • Structure content for clarity, logical flow, and learner retention., • Create formative and summative assessments to measure knowledge transfer and performance impact., • Design and build interactive eLearning modules using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise., • Manage course creation and administration within LMS platforms (Workday Learning, Cornerstone)., • Ensure compliance with SCORM and accessibility standards., • Conduct needs assessments, surveys, and interviews to identify skill gaps and align training initiatives to organizational objectives., • Monitor and refine learning programs using evaluation models to ensure effectiveness, quality, and continuous improvement., • Manage training projects end-to-end, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication., • Bring creativity and innovation to designing inclusive, engaging training programs., • Adapt quickly to diverse audiences, evolving organizational needs, and new technologies., • High School Diploma, • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or related field., • 5-7 years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or training delivery, with direct experience as a facilitator/trainer., • Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, mining, maintenance, or related industries (strongly preferred), • Proven experience designing, developing, implementing, and continuously improving training programs and materials., • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline and Rise) and LMS platforms., • Strong foundation in adult learning theories, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation., • Travel: 15-25% nationally, • Bilingual: Spanish & English (Preferred), • Competitive compensation paid weekly, • Best-in-class; Medical, Dental, Vision, and LTD/STD, • 401(k) with company match, vested day-one, • Employee Stock Purchase Plan [ESPP], • Tuition Reimbursement, • Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, and Community Service Paid Time Off, • Pet Coverage "For our Furry Friends", • Legal Assistance Coverage, • Award winning safety programs Primoris was formed in 2004 as the parent company and is traded on the NYSE under the symbol PRIM.
