Job Description Cedar Recovery, LLC is an ASAM Level I outpatient treatment facility that employs an array of evidenced-based treatment modalities to provide an integrated model of care of medical, counseling, and therapeutic interventions to treat every patient’s individual needs and promote long-term sustainable recovery from substance use disorder. While Cedar Recovery provides care for all substance use disorders, it has a primary focus on treating opioid use disorder with medications such as Buprenorphine and/or Naltrexone (MAT). The purpose of this position is to serve as a Medical Assistant for Cedar Recovery. The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following: • Assists Medical Professionals with clinical prep including notation of lab results, patient UDS schedule, and e-prescribing, • Maintains patient care by pulling CSMDs, charting audits, scheduling patient follow-up appointments, and handling prescription issues, • Proficient computer manageability for scheduling, changing, and canceling appointments and required documentation, • Accountability and Self-Management Accepts personal accountability for work and consequences, • Works independently without day-to-day guidance from the supervisor, • The ability to manage multiple projects that meet the standards of Cedar Recovery., • Respectfully communicate with vendors, suppliers, and pharmacy representatives., • Foster open dialogue and actively listen to others in order to build and maintain effective and respectful working relationships throughout Cedar Recovery.
