This Role We are seeking a mission-driven independently licensed clinical therapist (LPCC, LMFT or LISW, etc) to join our founding Northeast OH team, delivering whole-person, trauma-informed care to individuals with substance use disorders. Your Responsibilities • Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients with substance use disorders, both in-person and via telehealth, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos., • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, modeling a non-paternalistic and destigmatizing approach to patient care., • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support patient recovery., • Collaborate with all clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans, including Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists, ensuring integrated treatment approaches., • Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary., • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines., • Pioneer innovative ways of improving access and overall care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations., • Champion the company's mission by modeling compassion and fostering trust and strong relationships with patients and communities., • Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available resources to support sustained recovery and overall health., • Medical, dental and vision coverage, • Flexible time off with generous PTO, floating holidays, and paid volunteer days, • CEU reimbursement & ongoing paid training, • 401K Match, • Employee assistance program, • 100% employer-paid short-term and long-term disability and employer-sponsored life insurance, • A long-term commitment to reasonable caseloads and therapist representation on the leadership team, • Protected downtime for recharging, clinical supervision, cx-functional collaboration, and administrative tasks (including a dedicated 1-hr lunch), • Independent licensure (LPCC, LMFT, LISW, etc.) in Ohio., • Minimum of 1 year experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders., • Certification in addiction counseling is a plus., • Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus., • Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities., • Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members., • Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development., • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during patient sessions, meetings, and daily work activities., • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling clinical documentation and materials., • Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials (e.g., patient files, training supplies) weighing up to 25 pounds., • Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations, including providing assistance to patients in distress or crisis situations., • Sufficient visual and auditory abilities to assess patient needs, read documentation, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members., • Ability to navigate clinic spaces, including patient rooms, offices, and common areas.
