Job DescriptionSalary: $20-35/HR depending on experience With Collins Machine Works Outside or On-Site Machinists will set and operate manually controlled machines in skilled precision to perform repairs to equipment, vessels, and mechanical structures at customer facilities or at our Fifth Street and Syer Road locations in Portsmouth, Virginia. Our On-Site Machinists travel to customer locations locally, throughout the United States, and abroad to perform site surveys and carry out repairs. We are looking for candidates who are willing and able to work the Night Shift for this position. The official hours are 3:00pm-11pm, however, depending on the job we are contracted to- the candidate must be flexible and willing to work later and longer shifts as needed.
