Job DescriptionBenefits: • Employee discounts, • Flexible schedule, • Free uniforms, • Opportunity for advancement Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Greet and seat guests, present menus to guests and inform them of special menu items, • Treat guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction, • Run the floor plan board, • Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables, • Take guest information for waiting list and quote wait time to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available, • Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area, • Answer phone and questions concerning the menu and restaurant, • Interact with guests coming in and as they leave, ensuring a positive dining experience, • Fill to go orders, if applicable, • Maintain restrooms throughout shift, • Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management, servers, team members and guests), • Must be able to read, write, and determine wait time based on companys procedures, • Must visually scan restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables, • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, • Previous training experienced preferred, • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
