Overview: The Complex Business Travel Sales Manager is responsible for effectively and proactively identifying, soliciting, and becoming familiar with all accounts in his/her market segments. Responsibilities The Construction Project Manager will oversee the NYCDDC Red Hook Project in Brooklyn The responsibilities include and are not limited to: • Oversee the management of parks projects in an occupied setting, • Communication skills to work directly with the client., • Provide technical evaluations, advice and guidance., • Manage contractor compliance with documents., • Manage multiple-contractor projects., • Coordinate the work of numerous contractors, provide progress reports, contract correspondences, manage the submittals, requisitions and change order process Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, • Professional Engineer (PE) license, • 10+ years of successful project management experience, • 10 years experience in construction inspection or management on infrastructure construction, • Water main inspection certification card, • Excellent communication and leadership skills., • OSHA 10, • General understanding of Public Works Projects Our Culture: We believe in the power of collaboration. JOB SUMMARY Under minimum supervision working from blueprints, sketches written and/or verbal instructions, sets up and performs the most diversified and complex progressive machining, fitting and assembly operations. Determines proper tooling and sequence of operations, and skillfully uses all machinists' hand tools and machine shop measuring equipment in order to produce work to specifications. Must be able to make complicated set-ups and operate available machine tools; determine operational sequences, proper jigs, fixtures and design of tool to be used. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Must be able to make complicated set-ups and operate available machine tools; determine operational sequences, proper jigs, fixtures and design of tools to be used. \n\n, • Must be able to skillfully use all machinist's hand tools and measuring instruments. \n, • Must be familiar with the machining of most materials. \n, • Must be able to use advanced shop math, including trigonometry.\n, • May be required to assign work to lower level machinists.\n, • Moves parts to and from the work area.\n, • Maintains good housekeeping in the work area.\n, • Meets all safety requirements in the machine shop and follows all company policies. \n, • Requires a High school diploma or equivalent education\n, • Requires the completion of an apprenticeship program or similar on the job experience of approximately four years or at least five years experience as a machinist.\n, • Ability to operate standard and specialized equipment to produce prototype and/or production parts\n, • Ability to perform standard shop computations, using technical math, geometry and trigonometry. \n, • In-depth knowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerances in both standard and metric systems\n, • Proficient use of set up and operation of CNC machining center.\n, • Proficient use of tool and surface grinders\n, • Moderate physical activity. \n Please note: The salary range is based on our market pay structure.
