Company Overview: Hi Power Electric, is a leading electrical contracting firm known for delivering high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions across commercial, residential, and multifamily projects. What Youll Do: As our Electrical Apprentice Instructor, youll help shape a high-performing apprenticeship program through classroom instruction, hands-on labs, and real-world jobsite mentoring. Instruction & Training • Teach electrical theory, NEC concepts, and technical skills in a structured classroom environment., • Lead hands-on monthly and 8week lab sessions to reinforce key learning., • Visit jobsites weekly to observe, mentor, and support apprentices in the field., • Evaluate progress, provide constructive feedback, and help apprentices stay on track., • Create and update lesson plans, classroom materials, and practical assessments., • Partner with Operations to ensure training aligns with jobsite needs and industry best practices., • Maintain accurate documentation for progress, attendance, and state program requirements. Requirements: • Required: Colorado Journeyman Wireman (JW) license, • Preferred but not required: Prior training or instructor experience, • Strong working knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and construction practices, • Excellent communication and mentoring skills, • A genuine passion for developing others and supporting their success, • Bonus: OSHA safety certifications, experience with adult education or trade school instruction Working Environment: • Classroom instruction at our training facility, • Hybrid options for planning and curriculum work, • Weekly jobsite visits for mentoring and QC support Hi Power, is an equal opportunity employer.
