Job DescriptionSalary: $200,000-$220,000/year Job Title: Director of Finance Location: Hybrid in Herndon, VA (3 days/week on site) Clearance Required: None Duration: Full-time, Permanent Pay Type: W2 employee Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer Management Duties: Yes Compensation: DOE Position Overview Four Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Director of Finance to join our team at Four Inc. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and work directly with Company leadership to measure and report on the financial health of the enterprise. This includes managing budgets, building forecasts, developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and creating presentations for an executive audience. The ideal candidate has strong financial acumen with a proven track record in financial management, planning, treasury, and strategy development. Essential Functions • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning., • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability., • Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards., • Develop financial and operational measures which provide meaningful insight and leading indicators to financial performance., • Collaborate with executive management to guide strategic decision-making with financial insights and analysis., • Develop a narrative of company performance to key stakeholders., • Manage relationships with financial institutions, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders., • Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence., • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and risk analyses to the executive team., • Monitor cash flow, profitability, and capital expenditures to ensure financial stability., • Lead financial reporting records and reports are accurate., • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and efficient resource allocation., • Implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks., • Drive financial planning and analysis processes to support informed business decisions., • Identify opportunities for cost savings, investment, and financial optimization., • Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations for cost management and resource allocation., • Support special projects as needed., • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field., • Relevant professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA)., • 15+ years of demonstrable experience in a senior finance leadership role., • Proficiency in corporate finance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks., • Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards., • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic financial planning., • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.) and financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Power BI, Adaptive Planning, etc.)., • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into financial strategies., • Excellent decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy., • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and executive management., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with senior management and external stakeholders., • High level of integrity and dependability., • Level-headed with sound judgment and demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information., • Public Sector (Federal + SLED) experience preferred. Physical Requirements: The work is generally sedentary and performed in an office or remote setting; however, some travel to government or partner sites may be required.
