Key Responsibilities As a Patent Litigation Associate Attorney, you will: • Represent clients in complex intellectual property litigation matters, including patent disputes involving advanced technologies, • Collaborate with experienced litigators to develop case strategy, including claim construction themes and technical narratives, • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery-related submissions, • Participate in all phases of litigation, including fact and expert discovery, deposition preparation, and trial readiness, • Help manage discovery workflows, including document review strategy, privilege issues, and technical evidence development, • Work closely with technical experts, in-house counsel, and internal teams to translate complex engineering concepts into persuasive advocacy, • Support trial preparation, including witness outlines, exhibit strategy, and pre-trial briefing Qualifications • Minimum 3+ years of patent litigation experience, • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, • Undergraduate and/or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, chemistry, biology, physics, or a related field, • Admission to the California Bar — CA Bar required, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, • Proficiency in legal research and writing, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under pressure, • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset Candidates with backgrounds in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, hardware, software, or broader hard sciences are strongly aligned with this practice.
