Requirements:, • Knowledge of facility operations, services, and maintenance activities, including lighting, plumbing, painting, and carpentry, • Understanding of plumbing codes, building systems, and inspection techniques, • Proficiency in both rough and finish carpentry methods and techniques, • Basic knowledge of electrical voltage and its application to maintenance and repair tasks, • Ability to safely operate tools and equipment and perform preventative maintenance, • Awareness of workplace safety hazards and adherence to safety practices for team members and guests, • Ability to identify, evaluate, and maintain safe worksite conditions, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, • Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members and guests, • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations Required Skills or Abilities • Perform maintenance, repair, and support functions across multiple trades, including electrical, lighting, grounds, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep, • Complete a variety of maintenance tasks such as re-lamping, plumbing installation and repair, drain cleaning, and general mechanical repair, • Install and replace restroom stalls, partitions, and related hardware, • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including mechanical rooms, shop spaces, and assigned facilities, • Transport, set up, and arrange furniture, signage, fixtures, parts, and other equipment as needed, • Assist and train under the Facilities Director in the completion of daily assignments and projects, • Support facility operations by responding to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, • Utilize or demonstrate familiarity with project management tools and technology (preferred) Formal Education Technical or vocational school education. High school diploma or equivalent; EPA Certification; Familiarity with project management technology preferred. Physical Demands Lifting, relocating furniture and equipment, snow removal, ladder work, electrical, hand and power tools. Must be able to climb ladders and roof up to 30 feet.
