Job DescriptionDescription: Make a difference in the lives of individuals in recovery. Turning Point, Inc. is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and organized Housing Assistant to join our residential team at a Board & Lodge facility. This vital role supports the day-to-day operations of the house and provides structure, accountability, and encouragement to residents as they work toward independent living. What You’ll Do: As a Housing Assistant, you’ll help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for residents in recovery. You'll: • Support clients with daily routines, house rules, and recovery goals, • Help manage meals, chores, and check-ins/check-outs, • Keep clear shift notes and incident reports, • Respond calmly to crises and follow safety protocols, • Mission-Driven Work: Be part of a culturally specific organization that centers the voices and needs of African American clients, • Professional Growth: Gain supervision hours and mentoring toward your LADC licensure, • Collaborative Team: Work alongside experienced clinicians and community advocates, • Inclusive Culture: We value diversity, lived experience, and innovation in care deliveryRequirements: We’re looking for compassionate, dependable individuals who thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
