Job DescriptionJob Title: HR Coordinator / RecruiterLocation: West Palm Beach, Florida Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and motivated HR Coordinator/Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting and day-to-day human resources operations. This role plays a critical part in sourcing and hiring qualified drivers and support staff while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and DOT regulations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about building a reliable workforce. Key Responsibilities:Recruitment & Talent Acquisition • Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates, • Develop and post job advertisements across job boards, social media, and industry platforms, • Recruit CDL drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, and administrative personnel, • Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and assist hiring managers in selection decisions, • Perform background checks, employment verifications, and DOT compliance screenings, • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for high-volume hiring needs, • Attend job fairs, trucking schools, and recruiting events to attract talent HR Coordination & Administration:, • Maintain employee records, HR databases, and personnel files with strict confidentiality, • Prepare offer letters, onboarding documents, and new hire paperwork, • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees, • Process employee status changes (pay, position, benefits, etc.), • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws, • Assist with payroll coordination, benefits enrollment, and HR reportingEmployee Relations & Support:, • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures, • Support performance management and disciplinary processes, • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies, • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to managementCompliance & Industry-Specific Duties:, • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, driver qualification files, and safety requirements, • Maintain I-9 documentation and assist with E-Verify processes, • Support safety programs, incident reporting, and driver records management, • Stay current on labor laws, transportation regulations, and HR best practicesQualifications:, • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required), • 2+ years of HR and/or recruiting experience (transportation or trucking industry preferred but not required), • Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver recruiting is a strong plus, • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms, • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills, • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalismPreferred Skills:, • Experience recruiting CDL drivers or logistics personnel, • Familiarity with ZipRecruiter, Indeed or similar recruiting platforms, • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environmentWork Environment:, • Office-based with occasional travel to recruiting events or job fairs, • Fast-paced trucking/logistics environment requiring adaptability and attention to detailCompensation & Benefits:, • Starting Year Salary - $60K, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid time off and holidays, • Opportunities for growth within the company#KT
