The Senior Project Manager - Mission Critical is a construction operations leader responsible for managing multiple project teams and accountable for all financial and risk outcomes. The Sr. Project Manager works in conjunction with their field team to ensure the contract requirements are being met for each project. Responsibilities also include client management, pursuits, schedule, budget management, staff development, quality control, and safety. Experience with Mission Critical data center projects is strongly preferred. What You’ll Do • Serve as the senior point of contact for clients to ensure alignment and resolution of high-level concerns while guiding project teams, communicating consistently, coordinating tasks proactively, and fostering a collaborative work environment., • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring achievement of cost, schedule, safety, and quality objectives., • Monitor project financials, including revenue forecasting, review of monthly earnings reports, cost control, profitability, and pay application processing, ensuring timely and accurate review of subcontractor and supplier billings and maintaining positive project cash flow., • Oversee project scheduling and design team partnerships to ensure timely coordination, scope alignment, and contract compliance, while monitoring performance against the target schedule, implementing corrective actions as needed, and coordinating commissioning and qualification schedule requirements., • Oversee direct report performance and workload, collaborating with senior leadership to assess staffing needs and allocate resources effectively., • Conduct job site visits to assess safety, schedule, and quality compliance while managing risks related to contract scope, budget, partners, and internal resources., • Collaborate with business development team to identify new client and project opportunities, maintain strong client relationships to support repeat work with legacy accounts, and contribute to forecasting future annual budgets., • Partner with estimating and marketing teams to prepare technical proposals, conduct site visits, develop pricing and staffing plans, solicit subcontractor pricing, and participate in owner negotiations., • Review and interpret contract documents, identify scope gaps, submit RFIs to clients/design teams, and ensure all parties have a shared understanding of project requirements., • Ensure project teams maintain organized records and complete closeout and warranty processes in alignment with company standards and client expectations., • Other duties as assigned.What You Bring, • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related field AND 12+ years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience., • Experience directly or indirectly supervising staff with increasing responsibility., • Previous experience in AEC (architectural, engineering, construction) industry preferred., • Previous experience with Mission Critical data center projects is strongly preferred., • Detailed understanding of project accounting and P&L statements., • Strong experience in project scheduling., • Estimating and buy out experience., • Proven experience with clients as a lead point of contact., • OSHA-30 certification required., • Exceptional listening, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead complex discussions and drive informed decision-making., • Demonstrated ability to be a leader and team player., • Deep understanding of contract terms and financial reporting, with proven ability to negotiate., • Highly self-motivated with exceptional time management and delegation skills to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong overall computer skills., • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software., • Ability to bring a client network to the organization that could facilitate future projects., • Collaborative approach to working with superintendents, PM’s, architects, engineers, and corporate services teams., • Anticipates emotional dynamics in teams and adapts communication style to maintain collaboration and trust., • Models emotionally intelligent behavior and mentors others in managing interpersonal challenges and team morale., • Actively participates in Immersive EQ program to improve lowest domain.Physical Requirements, • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time, • Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods, • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, • Ability to use required safety equipment and PPE, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Life, accident, and disability coverage, • 401(k) with company match, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and wellness initiatives, • Paid company holidays, floating holidays, and flexible time off Apply today and build your future with GBA.
