Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well established law firm to recruit a legal billing specialist. This full time role is ideal for someone with at least two years of legal billing experience who is comfortable managing attorney time entries, generating client invoices, and ensuring accurate billing in compliance with firm and client guidelines. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, and experienced with law firm billing systems. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare, review, and process client invoices in accordance with firm and client specific requirements, • Work with attorneys to review time entries, make corrections, and ensure accuracy prior to billing, • Monitor billing deadlines and ensure timely submission of monthly invoices, • Handle electronic billing submissions through various e billing platforms and resolve any rejections or compliance issues, • Maintain detailed billing records, adjustments, write downs, and billing histories, • Communicate with attorneys, clients, and accounting staff regarding billing status and outstanding issues, • Assist with collections efforts by tracking unpaid invoices and preparing follow up reports, • Generate billing summaries, accounts receivable reports, and other financial documents as needed, • Provide administrative support to the billing department and assist with special projectsQualifications:, • Minimum of two years of billing experience in a law firm setting, • Strong understanding of legal billing procedures and client billing guidelines, • Experience with law firm billing software and e billing platforms, • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in reviewing financial data, • Ability to manage multiple billing deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidential financial informationThis posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. ??
