Job Description Gallaher Signature Living is redefining what it means to age well. As we continue to expand across California, we seek an Executive Director, to provide visionary leadership at our Villa Capri campus. This role serves as the chief operating, cultural, and compliance leader for a boutique senior living campus, with full accountability for resident experience, financial performance, regulatory excellence, and brand stewardship. The Executive Director is a visible and trusted presence—setting the standard for service, professionalism, and compliance—while serving as a strategic partner to ownership and executive leadership. Compensation: $135,000-$160,000 per year, plus bonus opportunity Key Responsibilities • Provide executive oversight, ensuring alignment with Gallaher Signature Living’s mission, values, and elevated brand standards., • Translate ownership and corporate strategy into operational execution with clear performance metrics and outcomes., • Serve as the senior decision-maker on campus, balancing strategic vision with hands-on, hospitality-forward leadership., • Lead campus-wide initiatives related to growth, innovation, culture, and continuous improvement., • Champion a luxury, boutique hospitality culture that prioritizes dignity, personalization, and exceptional service., • Ensure a consistently elevated, high-touch resident and family experience across all sites., • Maintain strong visibility with residents and families, addressing concerns with discretion, diplomacy, and professionalism., • Oversee lifestyle programming, dining services, environmental quality, and aesthetics to reflect a refined, differentiated offering., • Hold full P&L responsibility for the campus, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls., • Drive occupancy, revenue growth, and margin optimization while maintaining uncompromising service standards., • Partner with sales and marketing leaders to execute sophisticated branding, positioning, and occupancy strategies., • Analyze financial and operational metrics to implement data-driven performance improvements., • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing executive and site-level leadership teams., • Establish clear expectations, accountability structures, and professional development pathways., • Foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and service excellence across all communities., • Model executive presence, emotional intelligence, and integrity in all interactions., • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management, • Ensure full compliance with California Title 22, RCFE licensing requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations across communities., • Maintain administrative and operational systems that support continuous Title 22 compliance, including documentation, staffing standards, training, and reporting., • Partner closely with clinical leadership to support quality outcomes, resident safety, and regulatory readiness., • Proactively manage surveys, audits, and inspections, maintaining a best-in-class compliance posture., • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, ensuring timely response to inquiries, plans of correction, and ongoing compliance initiatives., • Act as a brand ambassador within the local market and broader senior living community., • Cultivate relationships with physicians, referral sources, community leaders, and strategic partners., • Represent the campus at public forums, industry events, and community engagements., • Uphold the aesthetic, service, and cultural standards expected of a high-end, boutique senior living organization. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of Executive Director or senior leadership experience in senior living; multi-site or large-campus experience strongly preferred., • Demonstrated success overseeing complex operations with full P&L accountability., • Strong working knowledge of California Title 22 regulations, RCFE licensing requirements, and survey processes., • Proven ability to lead regulatory compliance while maintaining an elevated hospitality experience., • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills., • California RCFE Administrator license required within 30 days of employment., • Experience in boutique, luxury, or high-end hospitality-driven environments strongly preferred., • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
