Job Description Our client is a travel and restaurant reservation company. They seek a temp Office Coordinator to join their Manhattan, NY office. Responsibilities • Oversee front-of-house operations to ensure a professional, welcoming, and organized reception experience for employees and visitors, • Coordinate all reception activities, including guest greetings, visitor check-ins, and directing inquiries to appropriate contacts, • Maintain accurate logs of shipments, visitor records, guest badge distribution, and office inventory for tracking and reporting purposes, • Manage incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, mail distribution, and package handling, • Prepare meeting rooms by overseeing cleanliness, setup, AV functionality, and post-meeting resets to ensure seamless transitions, • Support event logistics, including catering coordination, furniture arrangements, AV testing, and collaboration with internal teams for successful execution, • Inspect office spaces, systems, and common areas to proactively identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs, • Administer office supply, pantry, and cleaning inventory management, including ordering and stock control, • Collaborate with cleaning vendors, sustainability partners, HR, and leadership teams to ensure compliance, workplace standards, and operational alignment, • Facilitate health, safety, crisis preparedness, occupancy reporting, vendor management, and ad-hoc operational support to maintain efficient workplace services Requirements • Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Business, or related field, • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, • Understanding of modern workspace concepts and workplace strategy, • Familiarity with Health & Safety legislation in the FM industry, • Understanding of supply chain management principles, • Proven experience managing multiple offices across regions, • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused mindset, • Ability to engage stakeholders and build trust through proactive communication, • CPR/AED certification highly desirable JobID: 47878 Company DescriptionAbacus Group is an award-winning executive search firm specializing in the permanent, temporary, and temp-to-perm placement of Accounting & Finance, Public Accounting, Administrative Support, Compliance, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, and Information Technology professionals across all industries.
