About the Role We are seeking a motivated defense litigation associate attorney with at least 2 years of relevant experience in civil litigation to join our firm. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, a strong communicator, and has a desire for professional growth. Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough legal research, • Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, and motions, • Conduct written discovery, facilitate document productions, • Participate in litigation, including depositions, mediations, and arbitrations, under the guidance of experienced mentors, • Communicate clearly both orally and in writing, • Collaborate with colleagues and case managers to ensure clients receive excellent service Qualifications • 2+ years of defense civil litigation experience, • Active California State Bar membership in good standing, • J.D. from an accredited law school, • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-service-driven law firm setting, • Strong writing, drafting, and strong attention to detail, • Ability to balance independent responsibility with teamwork and collaboration, • Desire for professional growth.
