Required Skills: Valid Minnesota Physician Assistant license Experience or strong interest in surgical oncology, specifically Hepatobiliary/Pancreatic (HPB) procedures Proven ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostics, and manage inpatient and outpatient care Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to assist in surgical procedures, including patient prepping, intraoperative assistance, and wound/drain management Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience in oncology or surgical subspecialties Familiarity with perioperative patient coordination Advanced procedural skills pertinent to surgical oncology Bilingual abilities or additional language skills Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree or higher from an accredited Physician Assistant program At least 2 years of clinical experience in surgical or oncology settings preferred, but highly motivated new graduates with relevant rotations are encouraged to apply Prior experience working in a hospital or surgical center environment Other Requirements: Minnesota license required for a quick start Willingness to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (07:30 - 16:00) Capable of assisting in operating room procedures and managing post-surgical patient care Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development Travel reimbursement and licensure/certification support provided when applicable This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $129.68, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and a robust referral bonus program.
