Job DescriptionJob Title: General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. This role involves assisting with a large push for parts from our main customers, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely. Responsibilities • Operate press equipment safely and efficiently., • Review and interpret quality alerts and part specifications before starting a job., • Perform first-piece inspections and compare against approved first articles., • Accurately complete production logs, job startup checklists, and operator logs., • Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines., • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions., • Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any quality issues.Essential Skills, • 1+ year of manufacturing experience., • Experience in machine operation, production, assembly, and quality control., • Ability to lift 30-40 lbs consistently., • Physical capability to bend, twist, squat, and lift throughout the shift.Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is based in a plastic injection automotive plant, which is relatively clean for an automotive facility. The environment is non-temperature controlled and can be loud. Shifts are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with a mandatory 7-day work schedule required initially. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
