Job Description Benefits Partner / Administrator - Job Description (Updated & Expanded) LHH is seeking a senior?level Benefits Partner to join our client's team, supporting U.S. and Canadian benefits programs within a large enterprise environment (4,000+ employees). This role requires 4-5 years of hands?on benefits administration experience, strong analytical capability, and the ability to manage complex benefits operations across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate will blend operational excellence, data?driven insight, employee support, and compliance expertise while partnering closely with HR, payroll, finance, vendors, and leadership. Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, employee choice) Employment Type: Temp?to?Hire (high conversion potential; performance?driven) Compensation: $43.27 - $58.65 per hour depending on experience. Key Responsibilities • Administer health & welfare programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness)., • Manage U.S. and Canadian benefit plans, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance., • Oversee global and multi?country benefits where applicable., • Manage perquisites and additional programs including Oracle - ADP Global Force., • Conduct benefits audits, planned activity reviews, and ongoing quality assurance., • Support and administer retirement plans including 401(k), pension programs, defined benefit and defined contribution plans., • Lead 401(k) audits, discrimination testing, and partner with payroll/finance to ensure accuracy., • Participate in presentations and contribute to retirement program education., • Administer or support leave programs (FMLA, STD, LTD, parental, and country?specific leaves)., • Coordinate with HR and vendors to ensure proper documentation and compliance., • Lead and support benefit plan implementations, open enrollment, mid?year changes, and renewals., • Own planned audits, reconciliation initiatives, and ongoing benefits process improvements., • Participate in global benefit harmonization, system upgrades, and process redesign projects., • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries across U.S. and Canada., • Handle escalations and deliver accurate, timely, and employee?focused support., • Support employees with complex benefits questions requiring analysis and cross?functional coordination., • Produce metrics, dashboards, reconciliation reports, audit files, and compliance reporting., • Perform data analysis related to enrollment, costs, trends, and vendor performance., • Conduct ad?hoc analysis to support leadership decisions and benefits strategy., • Must be highly fluent in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, advanced functions preferred)., • Ensure adherence to ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, and local/country?specific regulations., • Support global compliance requirements including works councils where applicable., • Maintain documentation, manage annual filings, support plan testing, and monitor vendor compliance., • Partner closely with HR, payroll, finance, accounting, and legal teams., • Coordinate with external vendors, brokers, consultants, and third?party administrators., • Support vendor evaluations, performance monitoring, and data accuracy processes. Required Qualifications, • 4-5 years of progressive benefits administration experience, • Experience supporting U.S. and Canadian employee benefit programs, • Experience with health & welfare, retirement, pension, and 401(k) audits, • Strong analytics capability (reporting, metrics, data reconciliation, trend analysis), • Experience with:, • Vendor management, • Payroll file transfers/exchanges, • Benefits communications, • Implementations and renewals, • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits systems (Workday, Oracle, ADP Global Force, UKG, SAP or similar), • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, • Ability to present benefits topics and contribute to leadership?facing discussions, • Experience supporting large organizations (4,000+ employees), • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, customer service, collaboration, problem?solving, and time management, • CEBS, SHRM?CP, or SHRM?SCP certification, • Experience with multi?country benefits and global governance requirements, • Experience supporting works councils or global retirement structures.
