Position Overview The Operations Manager for King County will oversee the daily operations of Bzoe Care, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with company goals. This role is critical in maintaining high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Operations Manager will lead initiatives to improve workflows, manage teams, and ensure optimal client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and strategic leader with a strong background in home care operations, team management, and process development. Keys Responsabilities 1. Leadership & Strategic Planning • Act as a key member of the leadership team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and long-term strategic alignment., • Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency, client satisfaction, and compliance with state and federal regulations., • Establish goals, performance benchmarks, and continuous improvement strategies for the organizations operations., • Collaborate with leadership to align operations with company growth and expansion plans. 2. Workforce & Team Management • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management of caregivers, nursing staff, and administrative personnel., • Ensure all employees meet certification, licensing, and credentialing requirements as mandated by state regulations., • Implement ongoing professional development programs to enhance caregiver skills and ensure the highest standard of care., • Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels while balancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness., • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to maintain high employee engagement and retention. 3. Operational Oversight & Process Optimization • Supervise daily operations, including client care coordination, scheduling, and compliance monitoring., • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce inefficiencies., • Ensure accurate documentation, timely reporting, and proper maintenance of client records in the WellSky system., • Evaluate operational performance through regular audits, KPI tracking, and feedback analysis., • Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement effective solutions to ensure smooth service delivery. 4. Client & Family Relations Management • Act as a point of contact for clients and families, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring high client satisfaction., • Conduct client check-ins, home visits, and quality assurance assessments to ensure care plans are being followed effectively., • Develop relationships with clients and their families to foster trust and improve communication between caregivers and clients., • Manage service inquiries, complaints, and escalations, ensuring a responsive and professional resolution process. 5. Compliance & Risk Management • Ensure all operations comply with Washington state regulations for home care services., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date caregiver licensing, certification records, and compliance documentation., • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to infection control policies, client safety protocols, and risk mitigation strategies., • Work closely with the compliance team to prepare for state inspections and audits., • Implement emergency preparedness and crisis response protocols for staff and clients. 6. Financial & Budgetary Management • Monitor operational costs and ensure services remain within budget., • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate billing, payroll processing, and financial reporting., • Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency while maintaining high-quality care., • Track and manage vendor contracts, ensuring cost-effective partnerships. 7. Technology & Data Management • Oversee the use and maintenance of the WellSky platform for scheduling, payroll reporting, and care plan documentation., • Ensure data integrity and accuracy, leveraging analytics to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency., • Implement process automation where possible to improve accuracy and reduce administrative burdens. 8. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Community Engagement • Work closely with HR, finance, recruiting, and care teams to align operational strategies with broader company objectives., • Assist in marketing and business development efforts by providing operational insights to improve client acquisition and retention., • Represent Bzoe Care at local and industry-related events to build partnerships and enhance the companys visibility. Required: • 5+ years of experience in home care operations or a related healthcare field., • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role, managing teams in a fast-paced environment., • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees., • Strong understanding of Washington state home care regulations and compliance requirements., • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities., • Proficiency in operational software (WellSky, ClearCare, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)., • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to operational challenges., • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills., • Experience with financial management and budget oversight in a healthcare setting., • Knowledge of insurance, Medicaid, and private pay billing structures., • Familiarity with risk management and safety protocols for home care settings., • Full-time: Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM), • Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience)., • Benefits:, • Health Insurance, • Dental Insurance, • Paid time off (PTO), • 401(k) This role requires a combination of in-office administrative work and in-field visits to client homes and care facilities.
