Job Description: Senior Manager, UI/UX The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Senior Manager, UI/UX, you will lead the design vision, strategy, and execution for our healthcare technology products. This role will lead our technology teams setting the standards for user experience and interface design for complex, data-rich applications used by healthcare providers, payers, and patients. The ideal candidate blends technical acuity, creative leadership, human-centered design expertise, and healthcare domain knowledge — ensuring our products are not only beautiful and intuitive, but also compliant, accessible, and impactful in improving healthcare outcomes. As the Sr. Manager, UI/UX, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Technical Leadership in SPA Development • Lead architecture and development of large-scale Single Page Applications using React, Angular, or similar frameworks., • Define and drive best practices for frontend engineering, including performance optimization, modular design, and maintainability., • Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless integration with APIs and microservices., • Champion code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD automation., • Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals., • Translate complex requirements into scalable frontend solutions that support healthcare workflows and multi-device usage., • Develop standards across UI/UX teams to ensure design intent is preserved during implementation., • Advocate for accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508) and inclusive design principles., • Understand and incorporate healthcare-specific usability standards, regulatory requirements, and patient safety considerations., • Promote workflows that reduce cognitive load for clinicians and administrative users., • Ensure frontend experiences reflect healthcare terminology, visual cues, and decision-support elements. Your Skills and Expertise Education: • 8+ years’ experience with developing SPAs using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js., • 8+ years’ experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript., • 8+ years’ experience with design/architect scalable, modular, and performant web applications., • 8+ years’ experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)., • 2+ years’ experience leading large, distributed teams across design and engineering., • 2+ years’ experience driving innovation using emerging technologies (e.g., AI-enhanced UX, predictive analytics), • 2+ years’ experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks., • 2+ years’ experience building cross-platform responsive applications with accessibility compliance (WCAG, ADA, Section 508). Preferred Skills: • Experience using generative AI tools for development productivity and UI design., • Experience creating and managing large-scale design systems., • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and other prototyping tools., • Familiarity with healthcare IT standards (FHIR, HL7) and EHR/EMR system usability., • Experience working in regulated environments with HIPAA, HITRUST, or FDA compliance considerations. Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $207,348 - $253,425, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
