Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months., • Must have at least 16 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience., • Travel experience is required from any number of months., • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months., • Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission)., • This role may require floating to additional units and locations, • Travel only, local not allowed. Skills: Cardiac telemetry, ER holding, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, heparin protocols, nasal cannula, portable oxygen tank, Administration of blood & blood products, Central line blood draw, Neurologic, Assist with lumbar puncture, BiPAP/CPAP, Cystic fibrosis, Insulin administration, IV Insulin Pumps, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pediatric Early Warning Score (PEWS)/Rapid Response Team, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring. Required Credentials: All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding. ID: Drivers License/State ID.
