Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed RTO: 7 days MAX; Floating Requirement: Floating required Weekend Requirement: 12-16 per contract PATIENT DIAGNOSES: dementia, diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture. Typical M/S diagnoses plus COVID SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Isolation area for COVID patients, multi level care to include stepdown (cared for by stepdown staff, not M/S staff) UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, Epic, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: based on unit needs UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
