As a US-based warranty provider, we provide expertise in safety and homecare to our customers. Our integrated solutions meet customer needs both inside and outside the home. Inside the home we protect critical aspects of home function such as plumbing, heating and cooling, appliances, power surges, hot water heater, and interior electrical. Outside the home we provide protection for critical lines (water, gas, wells, sewers, electric and septic). We primarily go to market B2B2C, partnering mostly with water/gas/electric utilities and municipalities to offer our product leveraging their brand for marketing and often adding our subscription fee to the water/gas/electric bill itself. Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Sales Strategy & Operations, the Manager of Sales Operations is responsible for owning the systems, reporting, and data infrastructure that supports the complete business development lifecycle. This position encompasses early-stage pipeline management through active deal performance tracking and strategic insights delivery. The successful candidate will maintain and enhance our Business Development and Partnerships Salesforce architecture while leading cross-functional integrations and building tools that improve sales efficiency, consistency, and scalability across Business Development, Partnerships, New Partner Implementation, and External Affairs teams. Located at our office in Naperville, our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (T-TH in office and M & F remote) is required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Salesforce Administration & Architecture: • Own, maintain, and enhance Salesforce architecture, including custom fields, opportunity stages, page layouts, automation rules, and integrations., • Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator across BD, Partnerships, Implementation, and External Affairs departments., • Provide comprehensive user support, resolve technical issues, and manage continuous instance improvements., • Ensure system scalability and optimal performance to support organizational growth. Data Integration & Reporting Infrastructure: • Create and maintain comprehensive sales dashboards and performance metrics to track critical KPIs across the sales funnel., • Integrate data from multiple sources including Salesforce, Oncourse systems, project management tools, and various lead generation platforms into unified, actionable dashboards., • Ensure data integrity across all reporting platforms and maintain comprehensive documentation including field mapping and data dictionaries., • Automate alerts and triggers for key performance indicators such as stage stagnation and pipeline slippage. Business Development Performance Analytics & Strategic Insights: • Create and maintain executive dashboards for Business Development leadership, segmented by team, individual, vertical, and other key business metrics., • Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to define and track critical KPIs including win rate, deal cycle time, average revenue, and deal size., • Develop and maintain reporting automation and cross-platform integrations using advanced tools such as Salesforce Flows, Zapier, AI plugins, and Office macros., • Deliver actionable insights that support executive decision-making and enhance sales visibility and performance. Process Optimization & Automation: • Design and implement systems that prioritize scalability, repeatability, and reduced manual input requirements., • Build intelligent spreadsheets and workflows that streamline recurring tasks and surface key business drivers., • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, process ownership, and consistency in execution., • Continuously identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements. Experience and Qualifications of the Role: Technical Expertise: • Advanced Salesforce proficiency required, including Salesforce Developer certification and hands-on experience., • Expert-level Excel skills with demonstrated experience in complex data analysis and modeling., • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms., • Knowledge of sales automation tools and emerging sales technologies., • Experience with sales performance management systems and related analytics platforms., • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and their integration with sales systems. Professional Experience: • 3+ years of experience in sales operations, business systems, or related analytical role., • Proven track record of managing complex data integrations and reporting systems., • Experience supporting sales teams and understanding of the full sales lifecycle., • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Computer Skills Needed to Perform the Job: • Proficiency in Microsoft O365., • Advanced Salesforce proficiency required. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics or related field (or relevant experience). Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: • Salesforce Developer Required. The base pay range for this position is $91,460 - $135,500 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
