Our team creates search-optimized, client-focused content designed to improve visibility, strengthen credibility, and support long-term growth. We are seeking a Digital Content Writer and Editor to join our team in Lisle, Illinois. This is a full-time, fully on-site position based in Lisle, Illinois, Monday through Friday. Position Overview: The Digital Content Writer and Editor is a full-time, salaried position responsible for writing, editing, optimizing, and managing digital content for law firm clients across a range of practice areas. This role requires strong writing ability, sound editorial judgment, familiarity with SEO best practices, and the ability to manage deadlines and revisions across multiple projects. The position works closely with internal teams and may communicate professionally with clients when needed. Responsibilities: • Write, edit, and optimize website pages, blog posts, scholarship descriptions, press releases, guest posts, social media content, and other digital marketing materials, • Refresh and improve existing content to support SEO performance, accuracy, clarity, and relevance, • Apply keyword strategy, SEO best practices, and editorial standards across multiple client projects, • Format and publish content within content management systems, including the use of basic HTML for headings, links, images, and accessibility elements, • Develop accurate, client-focused content across a range of legal practice areas, with support from internal processes, editorial standards, and team collaboration, • Collaborate with SEO, design, and project leadership teams to align content with client goals, branding, and broader marketing strategy, • Manage deadlines, revisions, and approvals across multiple concurrent assignments, • Exercise strong editorial judgment to maintain quality, consistency, tone, structure, and professionalism across all content, • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members and, when needed, clients regarding content development and revisions, • Contribute ideas for new content initiatives and social media strategies that support client growth and visibility Requirements: • Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, • One to three years of professional writing and editing experience required, with strong preference for candidates who have worked in digital marketing, SEO, agency, publishing, or other deadline-driven content environments, • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, accurate, high-quality digital content across multiple formats, • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization strategies, • Excellent editorial skills, including grammar, organization, tone, and attention to detail, • Ability to manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, • Ability to adapt to different client voices, handle feedback professionally, and revise content effectively Preferred Qualifications: • Experience writing website content, blog content, or other marketing copy for clients or multiple brands, • Experience working in agency, digital marketing, SEO, or other production-focused editorial environments, • Ability to write clearly and accurately about technical or unfamiliar subject matter Compensation & Benefits: Compensation: $50,000$60,000 After a 90-day waiting period, employees are eligible for: • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois medical plans, including PPO, HSA-qualified PPO, and HMO options, • Delta Dental PPO or HMO coverage, with vision benefits, • Paid time off 10 days in the first full calendar year, increasing to 15 days in subsequent years for vacation and illness, • Company-paid short-term disability and life insurance, • 401(k) retirement plan with a 3 percent company match, • Paid parental leave, • Bonus opportunities Location: Lisle, IL; Employment Type: Full-Time
