Our mission is to help clients achieve stable, long-term housing by addressing barriers and creating sustainable pathways to self-sufficiency. As Lead Housing Coordinator, you will play a key role in advancing this mission by overseeing housing coordination across multiple programs, including Housing Stabilization Services and Housing Supports. This leadership position involves managing a personal caseload while also guiding and supporting a team of Housing Coordinators to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with Frontier Livings vision and values. In this role, you will work directly with clients to develop individualized housing plans, promote housing retention, and connect individuals to critical community resources. You will also contribute to broader program development efforts, including quality assurance initiatives, staff training, and the cultivation of community partnerships that expand housing access and long-term stability. Supporting clients in their development empowers them to become productive, contributing members of societynot just by securing stable housing, but by assisting them in building life skills, accessing education and employment opportunities, managing finances, and fostering personal growth. Housing Coordination: As a Lead Housing Coordinator, your primary duties will include: • Staff Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to ensure effective program implementation and the professional growth of staff. This includes organizing targeted training, facilitating peer-to-peer learning sessions, and offering mentorship that empowers team members with the skills, tools, and confidence to deliver exceptional, mission-aligned care., • Community & Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture robust relationships with housing providers, community support networks, and social service agenciesbroadening resource access and creating integrated care pathways for those served., • Client Assessment & Housing Plans: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients housing needs and develop individualized, person-centered housing plans. Maintaining composure and working effectively under stressful conditions., • Housing Search & Lease Negotiation: Assist clients in navigating the housing search process, applying for housing, understanding lease agreements, and negotiating lease terms., • Benefits Assistance: Facilitate clients access to housing-related benefits, including vouchers, subsidies, and other supports that enhance housing stability., • Tenant Support & Education: Educate clients on lease compliance, budgeting, and household management to promote long-term housing success., • Resource Linkage: Connect clients to community resources such as legal aid, financial counseling, tenant rights organizations, and crisis intervention services., • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate and thorough case documentation, adhering to Department of Human Services (DHS) guidelines and program requirements for Housing Stabilization and Housing Supports., • Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis management support as needed, assisting clients with maintaining housing stability during challenging situations.Program Development: Beyond direct client support, your role will contribute to shaping and enhancing Frontier Livings impact through strategic program development activities:, • Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Uphold Frontier Livings mission and service excellence by implementing rigorous quality assurance protocols. Youll conduct routine service evaluations, track key performance metrics, and collaborate on improvement initiativesensuring that programs consistently align with the best practices and deliver meaningful outcomes for clients., • Community & Strategic Partnerships: Champion a collaborative approach by cultivating and sustaining dynamic relationships with housing providers, community-based organizations, and social service agencies. Your efforts will expand the network of housing options, increase access to support services, and create integrated pathways for clients navigating housing instability., • Participate in Leaderships Meeting, Provide technical feedback, and development plans.Qualifications:, • Minimum 5 years of experience in housing coordination or related fields, including leadership or supervisory experience., • Bachelors degree in social work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute for a degree)., • Knowledge of local housing resources, housing benefits programs, and tenant rights., • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills suited for both direct client interactions and team collaboration., • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites., • Ability to pass a DHS background study.Who Would Excel in This Role?, • Passionate Housing Advocates: Committed to helping individuals achieve housing stability, with a proactive approach to overcoming housing barriers.
