Why join us? growth opportunities 100% paid benefits by employer Bonus's comm plan 5% 401k match Job Details Job Details: As a Permanent Commercial Lines Insurance Agent, you will be at the forefront of our company's mission to provide top-notch insurance solutions to our clients. This role is pivotal in driving our company's growth and success by selling and developing strong business-to-business relationships. You will be responsible for identifying and developing key referral sources, generating leads and prospects, and producing new business sales. Your role also includes the retention of the book of business through outstanding service, honesty, and integrity. Responsibilities: • Work closely with preferred carriers to identify underwriting guidelines and appetite for target/niche markets., • Develop, maintain, and execute a business plan that aligns with the agency's strategic goal., • Actively solicit and sell new insurance accounts to meet both individual sales objectives and the agency strategic sales objectives., • Renew existing accounts and re-market as necessary., • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing markets and underwriting criteria for our preferred carriers., • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources and clients., • Actively engage and participate in community networking events and organizations., • Work in cohesion with assigned CSR(s) and/or Account Manager(s) to ensure seamless service to clients., • Participate in sales meetings and in-house training as requested., • 2+ years of previous business-to-business sales experience, • Commercial Insurance sales experience highly preferred, • Bachelor’s degree preferred, • Preference given to those with existing insurance license and/or industry designations, • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines, • Good listening skills and ability to determine clients’ needs efficiently, • This position requires a Florida Property & Casualty producer license as required by the Florida Department of Insurance., • Must have experience in Client Account Management, Insurance, Commercial Lines, property and casualty insurance, Flood insurance, and general liability., • Must maintain necessary licenses and required continuing education for license renewal., • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
