Job Description We at Titan Protective Systems are a Vector Security authorized dealer, serving residential and small business customers. We provide industry-leading home security systems as well as the latest technologies in home automation and energy management. Due to expansion we are seeking Outside Sales Representatives for our local Nashville office and surrounding areas (middle TN) PLEASE READ:::: I'd like to be blunt here. Due to the way this platform and others work, we are inundated with applicants. I'm going to spell out what we are looking for in black and white the best I can. I'm hoping you appreciate this transparency, as many companies like to withhold the nitty gritty until after you accept. I'm sure this will reduce our applicant count, however, I'd rather those that are serious with the qualifications be few than buried among hundreds that click the one-click apply button Responsibilities: • You will present our product to new homeowners in the Nashville/surrounding metro area. You will engage with potential clients and if they show interest, present and sale our system. We are not pushy, there are plenty of people to talk with. You just need to be friendly, but confident, • Work independently in the field running these given leads. This is outside, knocking on doors. You enjoy the outside. You will not melt, promise. We are not randomly knocking; we target a specified list, • Need to be able to meet minimum quotas. Not just for us, but for yourself, • Once you have shown you can sell, and well; you can lead a team. You need to be able to coach and help them do the same Qualifications: • MUST BE CONFIDENT in one's ability. You are a face and a smile. Being timid will not produce results. We understand that this isn't for all; but being friendly and outgoing is a must, • We sell technology. Alot of tech. I'm not saying you need to understand the inner workings of a Tesla, but you need to be proficient with a phone and basic apps. You need to be able to understand basic alarm/camera features and functions and be able to relay them if asked a question by a client - we will give you the knowledge needed to be proficient in your presentation., • Ability to work a full day. We work 40 hours a week, 9:30-6:30 Monday through Friday. No weekends. These are the total hours; you are given time to get to location. We have a short meeting at our office in Nashville in the morning and we disperse to the field, • Reliable transportation. As an sales representative, you will drive to the territory and talk with new homeowners about presentations. Your vehicle needs to run, ideally well. I really feel I shouldn't need to put this here, but I've got stories.... Compensation / Benefits Overview: • You will be paid for each deal installed each week on Friday, • All representatives maintaining minimum productivity requirements will have salary, • Representatives hitting minimum productivity will make 62k between salary and commission, • Representatives hitting modest productivity will make 88k and high productivity 120k, • W2 (actual employee) position, contractor available by request, • No weekends or holidays will be requested. You have a life, you need to live it., • No distance, all leads provided are within Nashville metro and surrounding areas. As much as we enjoy working in Mississippi and other far away ‘leads,’ we will stay close to home In summary about you. You are go getter that wants to get off of the hamster wheel. You dont want to grind it out every friday saturday and sunday night. You dont want to bell each day watching the sun rise and set through the store windows. You dont want to sell a product that wont be installed for 4 months and paid to you even further out. You want to earn this week and get paid on that THIS WEEK. You want to be able to hit a goal and then tell us (the company) you are done for this week and we'll see you on Monday. You dont want to come to daily 4 hours ra ra meeting where you dont make any money and listen to others complain. You dont want to travel over a different state staying in a lousy motel. You want a feasible opportunity to make good money without having to set company records to do so. You want leadership in the company that does this job as well so they dont talk out their butts when giving advice. You want to represent a product thats priced fair or better than the market and with features that others can only match at best; but many dont. Finally... you have a sense of humor. (note about that last one. I'm not going to post the cliche "we are a family" line because we are not family. That being said... we do spend time together.
