Berger is Allied Van Lines’ largest agent with 16 locations throughout the U.S. As a Commercial Truck and Mobile Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in the market by selling our wide range of services performed on commercial trucks, trailers, and other related services to fleet operators, independent contractors, logistics companies, and distributors. This role requires a deep understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and the ability to tailor solutions that meet the specific operational needs of customers. You will be expected to build long-term customer relationships, increase market share, and drive the overall growth of our product portfolio. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development: • Prospect and develop new customer accounts in the commercial truck and trailer market, including trucking fleets, logistics companies, construction businesses, and transportation providers., • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers by maintaining regular contact and understanding their evolving fleet needs., • Conduct in-person meetings, highlighting the advantages of our services we provide on trucks, trailers, and associated equipment., • Assist customers in selecting the right services based on their business requirements., • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technological advancements in trucking (e.g., electric trucks, autonomous vehicles), and competitor offerings., • Lead contract negotiations for large fleets, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining company profitability., • Conduct regular analysis of the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and industry shifts., • Provide post-sale support to ensure customers are satisfied with their purchases and receive assistance with any issues that arise., • Work closely with internal teams (service, parts, and logistics) to ensure seamless customer experiences and efficient repair processes., • Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems., • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of outside sales experience, specifically in the commercial vehicle, truck, or trailer industry., • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the commercial truck and trailer markets, including products like semi-trucks, box trucks, trailers., • Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals, with a strong track record in new business development and account retention., • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact with fleet managers and directors., • Technical Acumen: Solid knowledge of trucking specifications, fleet management software, and the unique needs of various industries., • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel locally for client meetings, and industry events as required., • Experience with fleet management software., • Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding vehicle emissions, load limits, and transportation compliance (e.g., FMCSA)., • Competitive base salary, with a performance-based commission structure., • Benefits package (health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), etc.)., • Mobile phone allowance, mileage reimbursement, laptop., • Join an industry leader with a reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service excellence., • Opportunity for career advancement
