Job Spec Mosaic is looking for a dynamic underwriter to join our team in the US to focus on US cyber and technology E&O. The ideal person has a proven ability to build and leverage strong broker relationships across the West Coast market. Responsibilities • Underwrite US cyber and cyber/tech open-market business, • Analyze risk, setting pricing, and undertaking policy review Negotiate with brokers on new and renewal business * Assist in helping set divisional strategy, including engagement in business-planning process * Develop business, including identifying new distribution, products and relationships * Build and manage relationships domestically and internationally, including brokers and cover-holders * Represent Mosaic in client meetings Skills, Experience and Education • Ideally 4+ years experience in a combination of relevant roles, to include cyber underwriting or broking, • Established relationships with West Coast brokers, and distribution partners, • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others, • Strong written and oral communication skills, • Highly focused, enthusiastic, and creative thinker, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a prompt and professional manner, • Ability to negotiate with sophisticated advisors and clients, • Ability to be proactive, work independently, and make decisions, • General knowledge of and ability to comprehend cyber and tech insurance products.
