This role focuses on product knowledge, needs analysis, customer education, and experience, while working closely with Sales Management and Finance to ensure a seamless transaction. This is not a traditional high-pressure sales role. Success is driven by professionalism, follow-up, CRM activity, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience while maintaining a balanced 40-hour work schedule. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Engagement • Greet customers promptly and professionally, both in-store and digitally, • Conduct a thorough needs assessment to match customers with the right vehicle, • Deliver engaging vehicle walk-arounds and product demonstrations, • Facilitate test drives and explain vehicle features, technology, and safety systems Sales Process Execution • Follow Napleton’s standardized Road to the Sale process, • Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM, • Present pricing transparently and professionally, • Work collaboratively with Sales Managers during desking and deal structure, • Support delivery process and ensure customer satisfaction at time of delivery Follow-Up & CRM Discipline • Execute daily outbound follow-up through calls, texts, and emails, • Maintain zero overdue CRM tasks, • Re-engage unsold customers and long-term prospects, • Assist with internet leads and showroom traffic as assigned Product Knowledge & Training • Maintain strong knowledge of new and used inventory, • Stay current on OEM programs, incentives, and product updates, • Participate in ongoing training, role-play, and coaching sessions Qualifications & Requirements • Prior automotive sales or customer service experience preferred but not required, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Professional appearance and demeanor, • High level of accountability and coachability, • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools, • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, • Ability to work a scheduled 40-hour work week, including evenings and weekends as assigned Ideal Candidate Profile • Customer-first mindset, • Organized and detail-oriented, • Self-motivated with strong follow-through, • Team-oriented with a positive attitude, • Comfortable in a structured, performance-driven environmentCompany DescriptionThe Napleton Auto Group—one of the largest, family-owned automotive dealership groups in the United States.
