Customer Delivery Specialist (Class A CDL Driver, Tanker Driver) Ecolab has an immediate need for a Customer Delivery Specialist to join their new expanded team in Joliet, IL! You’ll be responsible for providing customer delivery of Bulk chemicals. This is a unique opportunity to grow in Ecolab’s new private fleet that focuses on Safety first. As a DOT driving professional, you will safely operate a diesel, bulk tanker vehicle over congested city highways, rolling and mountainous terrain, and rural roads. In addition, you will perform pre-trip inspections to any type of vehicle used to deliver chemicals to customers, plants, and warehouse locations. We pay by the hour instead of the load so you can focus on Safety!, • $4,000 signing bonus!, • Full benefits package starting DAY ONE including Medical, dental, vision, matching 401k, pension, stock options, and more!, • New Assigned Vehicles and Equipment., • Paid for premium hotel stay and meals while traveling, • Home on Weekends, Holidays, and Paid Time Off., • Stop Work Authority What You Will Do: • Bulk/Tanker chemical delivery, • Delivery typically within a 500-mile radius from Joliet, IL, plant location., • Safely operate vehicles to include (not limited to) delivery trucks, tank trunks, over-the-road trucks, • Maintain driver's hours of service by using Samsara and/or paper logbook reporting, • Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections, • Responsible for accurate up-to-date delivery location maps, and operates in accordance with DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with homeland security requirements and guidelines, • Maintain regular communication with sales and supervisor to report field problems and/or safety hazards, • Follow Ecolab Verified Delivery procedures for all delivery assignments, • Always wear appropriate safety gear during delivery operations, • Keep current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills, • Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment, • Occasional overnight delivery. Minimum Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent, • Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), no restrictions with HazMat & Tanker, • 3 years of commercial driving experience, compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations from the past 3 years required, • Must be willing to travel up to 5 days per week, home on Weekends and Holidays, • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs., • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role, • Ability to back and parallel park bulk tankers, straight trucks, semi-trucks and trailers into narrow passages through expensive industrial equipment, • Knowledge of equipment, compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials Preferred Qualifications: • Three years of bulk, tanker experience, • Bulk, tanker experience with hazardous chemicals As a trusted partner, your customers will rely on you for their success. Job Description Parts Driver & Counterperson Apprentice Location: Hawk Subaru, Mazda, & Chevrolet – Joliet, IL Union: Local 179 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (½ hour lunch) Starting Pay: $19/hour Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Parts Driver & Counterperson Apprentice to join our parts department team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily dealership operations across Hawk Subaru, Mazda, and Chevrolet. The ideal candidate will start each morning performing a dealership parts delivery run, followed by assisting at the parts counter as a floater between the three stores. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in both parts logistics and counter operations while developing toward a full counterperson role. Responsibilities • Perform morning dealership delivery runs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of parts, • Load and unload parts safely and efficiently, • Assist at the parts counter with customer and technician orders, • Learn and support counter procedures, including parts lookups, invoicing, and stocking, • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts department and delivery vehicles, • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, • Strong attention to detail and time management, • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently, • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, • Union position (Local 179), • Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, • Paid training and apprenticeship development

Position Summary: Provide operational leadership to individual contributors and hourly workforce to ensure the execution of daily tasks and activities including driver deliveries, loading/unloading of trailers, cross docking and customer service operations in a manner consistent with company services and cost objectives. Supervises most processes directly including workforce and equipment scheduling. Responsible for making corrective action and disciplinary decisions up to written warning level. Involved in the hiring process and customer meetings as necessary. Reviews truck runs based on location of accounts, volume, costs, customer requirements and private fleet utilization. Review daily orders for additional private fleet opportunities based on above requirements. Shift : The hours are Sun, Mon, Wed, Thurs, Friday; 3:00a – 1:00p, (subject to change). Leadership members are to be present 30 minutes prior to the start of shift and may have to work on off shift as needed. Flexibility required around the peak season, holiday, short staffed, and business needs. Salary : $60,400 - $81,400; In this role, Operations Supervisor will be bonus eligible based on their performance and location performance.
