Job Description We are recruiting a Certified Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team! Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials. Responsibilities: • WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure optimal efficiency, safety, and productivity, • This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing best practices to support the company's operational goals, • The Warehouse Lead will play a critical role in ensuring smooth logistics and high-quality service for EOS IT Solutions and its partners, • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment, • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to ensure high performance and team development, • Ensure the day to day operational logistics activities run smoothly and efficiently, • Support teams with internal moves, additions, and changes, • Receiving and processing all equipment shipments, • Responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment, • Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to pre-determined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code, • Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory, • Performs other duties and responsibilities when needed, • Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager, • Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials, • Prepare products and materials for shipment, • Load, unload, and stage products and materials, • Track and record units of materials handled, • Adhere to safety policies and procedures, • Manage and control inventory process, • Experience in forklift driving, cross dock and shipping operations, • Familiarity with pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles, • Ability to handle physical workload, • Strong work ethic and team player, • Working on various warehouse software application, • Sending and replying to the emails, • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, • Experience using ERP’s, such as Sage, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc, • Experience in warehouse, logistics, and materials handling, • Ability to develop and maintain positive employee, customer and cross-functional team relations, • Ability to effectively promote and lead change Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, • Experience leading a team of associates using resources effectively to meet order deadlines ensuring 100% accuracy, • Experience leading a team of associates using resources effectively to meet order deadlines ensuring 100% accuracy, • Company, OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations and power industrial equipment requirements, • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive results, • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service, • Knowledge of inventory management and control principles, as well as experience with warehouse management software, • Ability to work with a computerized maintenance management system, • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form, • Ability to interpret data, information and documents, • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, observe, and interpret situations, • Ability to operate a personal computer and other office equipment, • Working knowledge in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), • Experience in maintenance systems and repairs is required, • Assist manager in identifying process improvement opportunities and execute as requested, • Experience with carnet documentation and international shipping, • Prior exposure to inventory audits and cycle counts, • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsCompany DescriptionFast delivery logistics is an emerging trucking and logistics company expanding its business operations in the heart of bay area.
