Job Description Join PrideStaff as an Inventory Control & Fulfillment Associate Pay: $17–18/hr Location: Union City, CA 94587 Schedule: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Benefits: Great Benefits Including Medical, Dental, Vision, & More… A day in the life You’ll start your shift reviewing manufacturing orders, organizing your pick list, and mapping out the warehouse for efficient routes. As trucks arrive, you’ll help unload and load trailers, label incoming materials, and transact movements in the system while following GMP. Throughout the day you’ll pick, pull, count, and pack items; investigate any misplaced products; and keep the workspace clean, tidy, and safe. You’ll communicate updates by phone and email, flag discrepancies to the right teammates, and make smart use of warehouse space. Between tasks, you’ll assist with inventory counts, verify documentation for finished goods, and support ad-hoc requests from operations. What you’ll do • Pick, pull, count, pack, and transact manufacturing orders in accordance with GMP, • Unload/load trailers and stage materials for put-away or shipment, • Research and resolve lost or misplaced orders/products, • Maintain accurate records for materials and finished goods inventory, • Answer phone and email requests promptly; communicate any errors to relevant parties, • Mark and label stock; perform cycle counts and inventory confirmations, • Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and safe, • Respond to internal requests and support general warehouse tasks, • Optimize use of warehouse space and storage locations, • Work reliably, take ownership, and operate independently when needed, • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager What you’ll bring, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Ability to read and write in English and Spanish, • Basic understanding of inventory systems and warehouse operations, • Experience operating a forklift and other powered equipment, or willingness to train; valid California driver’s license; ability to complete forklift certification within 1 year of hire, • Computer literacy; working knowledge of Microsoft Office appropriate to the role, • Comfort in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, • Ability to read engineering drawings, • Previous warehouse experience preferred, • Experience with inventory, ERP, and information systems preferred, • Ability to stand or sit on a lift truck for extended periods during the shift, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; heavy material handling as needed Core proficiencies, • Shipping/Receiving, • Warehouse Experience, • Heavy Material Handling, • Meets Physical Requirements PrideStaff Hiring Requirements: * Must be 18+ Years Old * Must be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background Check * Must be Willing to Submit to a Drug Screen * Must be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S. Ready to build your warehouse career with supportive coaching, benefits, and growth potential?
