Job Description Xpedient is a full-service 3rd party logistics provider. We have experience helping a diverse client base in warehousing services, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment and labor needs. 1st Shift 2nd SHIFT: 2:30pm - 11pm Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays Summary Our Team Members operate powered industrial equipment such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts with fork or clamp attachments. Tasks loading/unloading pallets and cases, picking/staging orders, putting away pallets, and other general forklift work. Roles and Responsibilities • Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety, • Sit-down lift experiences preferred, • Minimum of 6 months of forklift and warehouse experience, • Must be super-efficient in all tasks required, • Put away inbound shipments/move product to storage locations using a forklift, • Picking cases by the each onto pallets using the powered equipment, • Prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and correct item is staged for loading, • Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy, • Report quality variances, • Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion, • Assist in any required physical inventories, • Complete daily inspection of equipment, • Perform additional duties as assigned by management, • Ensure proper stock rotation, • Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program, • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards, • Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test, • This position requires lifting cases weighing from 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout a long work period, • 18 years or older, • Working in a high-speed manufacturing environment (e.g., team-oriented, deadline driven, high performance demands, fast-paced, etc.), • Driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc.), • Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.), • Observe and follow health and safety regulations, • Enforces operating instructions and safety policies., • Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures, • Maintain detailed records of safety incidents, • Assign designated safety personnel, • Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
