This role balances strategic oversight with hands-on execution and serves as the central marketing partner across departments, ensuring effective promotion of programs, events, and organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive multitasker with experience across communications, branding, digital marketing, and social media. This individual is comfortable managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and driving results in a collaborative environment. Competencies for Success • Thrive in a team environment and be able work collaboratively and independently and cross-functionally to contribute to the organization’s commitment to core values and strategic plans., • Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills, • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical abilities, • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and results-driven, • Self-starter with high level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, • 4–5 years of experience in progressive marketing roles, • Experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, • Proficiency with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and analytics, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, • Experience with Salesforce, WordPress, and Adobe tools, • Experience in B2B, manufacturing, or economic development environments Essential Tasks Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution • Execute on established Marketing Strategies, • Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns (email, social, digital, events) to drive engagement and lead generation, • Maintain an updated centralized marketing calendar, • Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns to improve results, • Consults with Sr. Director of Business Development on performance outcomes related to lead generation, event attendance, and engagement metrics, • Ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all channels in accordance with established Marketing Frameworks, • Identify opportunities to enhance brand visibility, audience reach, and marketing effectiveness Events, Digital Presence & Content • Lead marketing and coordination of events, workshops, and webinars from planning and promotion through post-event follow-up and reporting, including ordering branding materials for ad-hoc or pop-up events., • Oversee website content and updates (WordPress) to ensure accuracy, usability, and effectiveness, • Manage email communications, newsletters, and social media channels, including regular content development and publishing, • Create, promote, and deliver content for Blog Programs and MassMEP Podcast, • Develop and execute marketing materials and content aligned with campaign goals, including course catalog, • Track and report on event, digital, and content performance using data-driven insights Cross-Functional Collaboration & Marketing Operations • Create decks and presentations as needed for Executive support., • Serve as the direct marketing contact for internal teams and departments., • Manage and prioritize incoming marketing requests, making recommendations based on impact and available resources and consulting with supervisor on special circumstances request., • Establish and refine marketing processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency, • Maintain CRM campaign tracking (Salesforce), marketing data, and reporting, • Manage and oversee external vendors and partners (design, digital, media) to ensure quality and performance., • Consider marketing-related budgets and support effective allocation of resources Physical Requirements • Ability to sit and stand intermittently as required in an office environment, • Infrequent exposure to dust, heat and cold when visiting manufacturing environments, • Ability to operate a motor vehicle, • Infrequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds when assisting in the set-up of events.
